Wasted
Wasted is a short film that encourages people to talk about their problems instead of keeping them to themselves and risking their own lives. Small talk can reduce stress, anxiety, trauma, and fear. You just have to get over the fear of judgment and talk about it to someone.
During my last trip to Madagascar, I had the incredible opportunity to attend one of the island’s most exhilarating annual events, the final race of the Madagascar Motocross Championship. I had the honor of creating a video for the national champion, crafting a high-energy recap that immersed viewers in the electrifying atmosphere of the race. From the roar of the engines to the intensity of the competition, my goal was to encapsulate the adrenaline and passion that fuel this event.
A huge thank you to my amazing filming crew in Madagascar for capturing some of the key shots that brought this project to life.
Luis interview video
Luis is a young photographer from Mexico. In this interview, he shares his passion for photography including the challenges he faced and his goals. My goal in this video was to make the viewers feel the passion and emotions of Luis while paying attention to the details of his journey. I used DaVinci Resolve to edit the video, including some speed ramping and a light colour grade.
Friendly – Short Film
“Friendly” is a short film about the impact a simple gesture can have on the world around you. In just two minutes, it captures how a single smile can create a ripple effect, brightening someone’s day and setting off a chain reaction of kindness. Through subtle storytelling and expressive visuals, the film reminds us that even the smallest actions can make a difference.
Madagascar Motion Design
For this motion design project, I wanted to capture the essence of Madagascar through a dynamic and immersive animation. Created in After Effects, this video highlights the country’s rich culture and stunning landscapes by blending animation, traditional Malagasy music, and smooth graphic transitions. I used illustrations and animations to bring different aspects of Madagascar to life—unique wildlife, and vibrant traditions. The choice of traditional Malagasy music adds an authentic touch, enhancing the immersive experience. My goal was to create a visually and sonically engaging journey that transports viewers to the heart of Madagascar, showcasing its identity and heritage in a modern and captivating way.
